Amazing sunset views from the infinity pool.
As a solo traveler, I felt very uncomfortable . The resort predominantly caters to couples and families. The buffet dinner was a disappointing experience, with cold dishes and staff busy serving domestic travelers.

Perfect for couples seeking relaxation
The evening boat ride was just unbelievable, a beautiful sunset and calm waters, feels like a dream.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

neat, new-fashioned units provided with an overhead fan, open air bathrooms, keralan style. highly efficient and active staff, incredible location next to doing the washing in the canal, and the longest lake in india, where nature has been preserved. also, to the main 'backwaters' area which is a hour or so drive away.

The meandering pool villa at lake resort was a perfect retreat. I loved the fine location by the serene backwaters. The staff were very good with their attentive service. The ayurvedic treatment was heavenly and a wonderful add-on to my stay.

Friendly staff - not pushy or ott. Beautiful location, fabulous concept. Almost paradise. The 230m long meandering pool around the cabins. Cabins are fabulous. Beautiful buildings. Peace and quiet, wildlife. Evening entertainment. Sundown cruise. Afternoon tea on the lawn.
No lime wedges with the morning fresh breakfast fruit. (Nitpicking!) Wine is so expensive (14+ times the UK supermarket prices). The main pool was a huge disappointment: too shallow and boring. It was out of place in paradise.
